Name the problem.
Bring the proof.
Do the politics.
A Greek and European political party built on evidence, action, and the political will to change the culture.
The problems are not hard to name. Food that Greece can grow but imports. Energy that Greek communities host but never own. Schools that train the best to leave. A parliament that asks for your vote every four years and nothing in between.
Every one of these problems has been solved somewhere. AURIO's twelve pillars take that evidence and turn it into a programme for Greece, built from the ground up by the people who show up.
Built on Evidence.
Most party programmes are wish lists. This one is built on 26 thinkers, 3 of them Nobel laureates, who spent their careers proving these policies deliver. Every pillar names its thinker, its evidence, and where it works.
- 01 Food Sovereignty Greece can feed itself. It chooses not to.
- 02 Community Energy Energy owned by communities. Not corporations.
- 03 Local Economy Build where people live. Not where corporations extract.
- 04 Direct Democracy Give communities real power. Not consultation theatre.
- 05 Education as Liberation Train people to stay and build. Not leave.
- 06 Border Region Justice Strategic contribution demands local benefit. Not silence.
- 07 Culture as Infrastructure Fill villages with meaning. Not emptiness.
- 08 European Sovereignty International law applied consistently. Not selectively.
- 09 European Democracy A parliament that legislates. Not advises.
- 10 Gender Parity Governance that represents everyone. Not half.
- 11 Healthcare as a Commons Care where people live. Not where money concentrates.
- 12 Social Security and Dignity Multiple cuts. One surplus. Rebuild the floor.
Register. Run. Build.
National elections first. We put the programme in front of the country, then municipal elections across Northern Greece, then Brussels pushing EU reform from the inside.
The Balkans are joining Europe and Northern Greece is where they arrive. Thessaloniki connects Greece to every country moving toward the EU, and Alexandroupolis is where the energy flows and NATO depends. This is the most strategic position any Greek region has held in a generation, and we are building the politics to match it.
From the Desk.
The Thing That Crushed You
The oppressed do not automatically become liberators. There must be a case at the ICJ on Greek government complicity in Gaza, and a citizenry organised enough to make silence the more expensive option. Pillar 05 is the answer to the silence.
What We Did Not Say Last Night
Yesterday, the duty. Today, the reason. The project that boarded the flotilla six hundred miles from its own shore is a colonial project. The ICJ said so in July 2024. AURIO is reading it with the country, out loud.
A Search and Rescue Zone Is a Duty, Not a Courtesy
Israeli forces boarded the Global Sumud Flotilla inside the Hellenic search and rescue zone. Greece stayed silent. A SAR zone is not a courtesy. It is a duty.
We need 200 signatures to register as a political party.
Every signature is an act of belief that evidence can replace ideology and that Greece deserves better than what it has. Sign the founding document, volunteer your skills, or help fund the work.
